Today wasn’t THAT bad. I went to my school to pay for my fall semester. I didn’t know if my financial aid went through so I prepared a check just in case. My pops went to the bank to get one & I nearly had a heart attack. You guys, I’m poor ! A little over $2,000 is a lot of money.
When the lady was checking my bill, she said that it was all cleared. I was in such shock that I let out a clueless ‘huh’. My fucking financial aid went through ! I was so ecstatic ! Barnes & Nobles is a block away from my school, so I decided to treat myself to a book. I’ve been having this urge to re-read The Great Gastby lately.
I ended up buying F. Scott Fitzgerald’s other works. I wanted to read his other work for some time now, but I just never had the opportunity to look for them. I bought The Beautiful and Damned & This Side of Paradise. I’m not sure, but I think I’m in love with Mr. Fitzgerald. Is that even possible ?
My friend, Omar & I went to a park so I can eat my Halal food in peace. We were just talking about random stuff. All in all, today wasn’t that bad.
